Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Anime Thread Mk
The longer the series stays on Mars, the better. It would be a waste if they went to Earth too soon.

Re: Super Robot Wars Z 2
I'm guessing that Shinkiro will be on the cover of Z2 Regeneration, I hope it does, cause even though the Lancelot is the mascot mech of Code Geass, its still an enemy unit for most of the game and STAYS an enemy even at the end of Z2 Destruction. And you guessed correctly! http://img692.imageshack...

Yeah, that particular bit hasn't exactly endeared me to SH and the two OVAs that take place after it.

Re: Super Robot Wars Z 2
I don't suppose anyone wants to explain to me what alterations are done with VOTOMS (aside from the Earth setting). The Uoodo arc takes place in Area 11. Planet Melkia is one of the many alternate "Earths" fused together into Z2's world, IIRC. I also wonder if those helicopters at stage 2...

Re: Infinite Stratos
I like IS so far. Ichika's refreshing for a harem lead, and Houki doesn't have all that jerkish-ness that's often associated with a tsundere. Plus after reading about her background I can understand why she's like that. Not much else to say that hasn't been said by others here already. But I do thin...

Re: Good mecha anime to watch?
Hm alright gives some new ideas to ask. How about Tekkeman Blade or Detonator Orgun? I'm sure it's been mentioned already but Tekkaman Blade is a great show. Orgun...not so much, but it's still pretty good and worth checking out if you're interested! So, am I the only one here that liked Aquarion? ...

Re: Super Robot Wars series(who else plays them?)
I don't think Xenosaga will appear in any SRW-related game outside of the Endless Frontier games.
And W is probably still in print in Japan. But import shops outside of Japan don't keep it in stock anymore.

Re: Gundamn! Mailbag Drop Box
Question:
I've noticed that MAHQ has a Mecha section for Eureka Seven but doesn't have a corresponding Anime section for it. Why is that? And do you guys like the show?

Re: Super Robot Wars series(who else plays them?)
Count me as another SRW junkie. I have: PS2 - SRW Z - SRW MX - SRW Impact - SRW Alpha 3 - SRW OGs - SRW OGG DS - SRW W - SRW K GBA - SRW R (Emulated) - SRW J (Emulated) - SRW OG1 - SRW OG2 Z ranks as my favorite followed by W. I'm currently hoping they might do a SRW R Portable; I've been nostalgic ...

Sounds good to me. Hopefully the fact that it's a movie means it will have some great animation.

Re: Gundam Perfect Mission
A good short. The only thing missing for me is Exia, but I can live with that.
At the same time, it's kind of depressing because we'll probably never see a Gundam crossover OVA (or for that matter, an animated non-OG Super Robot Wars).

Re: Games You Could See With an Anime Adaptation
BlazBlue could also work, for similar reasons. It even has illustrated shorts provided by Bones, I believe. Gonzo, actually. BlazBlue and Ace Combat are good choices for anime adaptations. The Phoenix Wright games also seem like a perfect choice. Persona 4, while I love it, I don't think it would t...

Re: New Haruhi season confirmed
Six or eight episodes of Endless Eight doesn't mean no Disappearance. Disappearance will most likely happen, we just have to wait longer to get to it.

*sigh*
I'm getting really sick of this, but yet I still find myself watching each "new" episode anyway. Hopefully, the next episode ends things.

It's getting a NA release.Duo Himura wrote:Definitely seems like it'd be worth seeing in theaters, though I seriously doubt it'll get such a release in the US (and I doubt I'd want to see it dubbed anyway).

Re: New Haruhi season confirmed
Well the supposed episode list out there has four episodes listed that cover the events of Dissapearance, so... Anyway, I agree about Endless Eight. The first episode was boring, and now they've repeated it twice so far with minor changes each time. I feel bad for Yuki, because she has to put up wit...

So far the only highlights me have been Metroid: Other M, Golden Sun DS, Modern Warfare 2, Halo 3: ODST, Halo: Reach, Mario Galaxy 2, The Saboteur and MGS: Rising on the 360.
Right now Splinter Cell: Conviction takes the cake. The trailer and gameplay video were just awesome.

Re: Which category of anime goers are you?
I watch anime the way I'd watch any foreign media (movie, TV show); subbed. Not only do the voices usually sound better to me, but watching subtitled anime also helps improve my Japanese skills at the same time.
