As someone who's dabbled a bit with game design, I know this pretty darn well. I'm just saying it's a nice feature to have, and is the only real merit of the Operation Troy demo I tried. The actual game could offer a slightly broader level of interest though with its meager customization ability. --...

It has something to do with the AMBAC system (flailing limbs, and such). Basicaly it /leans/ which ever way it needs to balance. I'm under the impression that there are no giant centering gyros* or massive balance tanks* within the mech. It balances like a person does. *- Either of these in a small ...

frankly the only value for this game is the fact that we can pilot a zaku and slug it out with a GM. wait, i have many game that do just that  . Frankly, I think the only value of the game is that I can drive a tank, a jeep, or pilot a mech, and not be stuck in the damn thing. I'm so tired of...

My half-hearted reviewing of the Gundam Operation Troy demo. A- for effort. C+ for results. B+ for momentary sheer joy of piloting a zaku and slicin and dicing two GMs and blitzin a tank in an act even Char woulda splooged to. Controls are garbage, lol. Weapons seem unbalanced, mostly the Zakus crac...

After getting my gold cross in CoD4, I've been diddeling around with the Gundam Operation Troy demo and workin on some old SNES roms, gosh I forgot how good Ogre Battle was. lol. The GOT isn't that great, but it keeps hinting at being better, we'll see when the real deal comes out. Been tryin to dec...

In CoD4 you realy need to play headquarters for kills (not captures) with a good balanced team to get some healthy Exp (I usually get around 800 to 1200 exp before challanges roll in), if you play the game with a head on your shoulders it's easy to walk through a prestige every four to five days. Wh...

I cannot see how such machines could survive LRRP (Long Range Recce and Petrol), jungle warfare and infiltration work. It's more for shock assult and attack. This machine wouldn't even survive that. This is a support unit, a grunt support and assist; in other words a bomb loader, a forklift and a f...

Forks.. LOL! Those are LExs, or; Leading Edge Extensions. The 18s have em, among other aircraft (coincidentaly, the 14 didn't). On that note, I sure as heckfii wouldn't want to be on the maintanence department for that machine, way to darn many moving parts. I do like its general dimensions, very ap...

Just got Mass Effect yesterday, still can't decide if I like it or not. I guess I was hoping for a little more Oblivion and a little less KotOR. Unfortunatly thats how it goes though. I deffinitly feel limited in my character (what, no way for me to be a tech _and_ a soldier without being limited in...

AH! I saw so many booboos in these last two pages it hurt my head!Titanium is exspensive, it is not a common element, where ever StrikeEnd heard this I have no idea. Titanium is almost never, ever, used in its pure form, Ti has great load bearing abilities (like, friggin fantastic) and is very heat ...

So I picked up the game yesterday, and I gotta say I like it more than Halo 3 on every aspect. Its just so much darn fun. From the campaign mode (which is actually really engaging for a FPS story :P) to the multiplayer (Shucks son, you just got owned by my MP5, whatcha gonna do about i-Gah! He knife...

one thing i have always wondered when looking at the UC specs was when they list an ms's 180 deg. turnaround time. what exactly does that mean? as in its flying in one direction and it does an axial spin back to the reverse direction like a figure skater or is it more like a split S type maneuver l...

So, i just picked up my copy of 6 with the throttle and joystick combo... my advise... Unless your die hard, don't get it. The throttle and joystick slow down your reaction time so much its amazing... it becomes a complicated task to perform simple tight maneuvers :P So if your an extreamist (or if ...

Well then, if not a minovsky conventional beam rifle for people, would a simpler, focused light laser cannon, for infantry be unreasonable? You would still run into the same problems, how do you make it small enough to carry, and how do you power it? To bring in a real example, the military has exp...
