Re: Federation OYW MS Use Timeline?
I just rediscovered the Ultimate Mark website. At first I was bummed to see the Timeline wasn't working, but I totally forgot to use the archive feature. Man, I've got so many dead links from the last 15 years of researching this stuff. I get the feeling that archives are gonna be my saving grace. A...

Re: Advance of Zeta
Thanks, Chris! And thanks Bilbros for the links! Looks like I've got my work cut out. Has anyone been translating the new material past Flag of the Titans? I know Mr Deacon Blues did a bunch of translating for the original series, but I haven't found much afterwards.

Re: Advance of Zeta
Thanks for referring me to the forum I started for the Titans Test Team
I didn't know about the "Mace of Judgement" or "Blue wings of AEUG" AoZ series though. The other three I had heard about. Looks like I've got more digging to do!

Advance of Zeta
It's been 15 years since I started up a small forum to collect information on the Advance of Zeta photonovel and manga series from Dengeki Hobby. Now, with a recent resurgence in AoZ Gunpla released, I find myself going back again trying to round up as much info as I can. A decade and a half later a...

Re: The Official Gundam Unicorn Mecha Thread Mk II
The Shamblo's MPC charging scenes always have me thinking something like this . I'm hoping it's scenes show us more than just a creeping slow movement, blastin with the MPC, and overusing it's bits. I know it grabs Unicorn with it's claw arms in the front, but it'd be nice to see a big target like t...

Re: AoZ2: Rebels Against Time Mechanics
This may be this labs way of applying the TTT hazel configurations and technolegy to a more modern frame than the old RGM-79Q frame hazel used. The TTT already used the Hazel's technology on a newer frame; a completely new one even. The TR-6 series took literally every other TR-Series machine's tec...

Re: AoZ2: Rebels Against Time Mechanics
Looks like there's a Hazel Rifle inside it's main weapon, which would explain the double e-caps on the left shield. I was trying to figure out where on the weapon those would go.

Re: AoZ2: Rebels Against Time Mechanics
I'm gonna go out on a limb here and not see the connection between a Neo Zeon CCA-era suit and a modified Hi-Zack. I kinda see where the design elements might look familiar when looking at them side-by-side, but from a developmental standpoint, a Titans Machine that pre-dates the Gryps conflict bein...

Re: AoZ2: Rebels Against Time Mechanics
The top bar of the same page shows the rear skirt (in green), is that the Barzam rear skirt? Sure looks like it to me! Or at least Refined Barzam (Katokified) stuff. As to J-Lead's comments, while I do think that some of the designs near the end of the original AoZ series went too far outside the l...

Re: AoZ2: Rebels Against Time Mechanics
The Shield Boosters from the Hazel certainly played a role in the Gaplant's development, but from then on, the Gaplant was already a design that was further tested by the Titans Test Team, not developed by them. It seems unlikely that this Hi-Zack would have any further connection to a machine like ...

Re: AoZ2: Rebels Against Time Mechanics
Interesting to note that for the second time now, Fujioka has a Hi-Zack design that removes the thrusters that once were on the sides of the calves. With all the thrusters added to the back, I wonder why he removed them in this case? Also, I finally figured out why I like the Advanced Hazel Visor-in...

Re: AoZ2: Rebels Against Time Mechanics
RX-106E Hi-Zack [Vanargand] debuted in the latest chapter of AoZ 2. I, for one, am thrilled with the obvious nods to Titans Test Team designs, with the inclusion of the Hazel's backpack, beam rifle double e-caps, and just a general overall design sense from that of AoZ 1. Haven't seen anything conf...

Re: AoZ2: Rebels Against Time Mechanics
I didn't notice this until I looked closer at the GM Cannon II variant, but there is a slight change to the antennae arrangement on the head of the suit. I suppose that would fall under the "special equipment" listing for it. Is there any hints as to what exactly this change achieves?

Re: AoZ2: Rebels Against Time Mechanics
Perhaps that's the overall feel they're trying to achieve with these designs in general... that they're not just pulling an element from one source, but from a larger array of influences. I would be interested to know what the original design was supposed to be, as they made it sound as if the GM Ty...

Re: AoZ2: Rebels Against Time Mechanics
Ahh, see... that's what happens when I get excited about designs and throw Chronology out the window. Still, the fact that both "Next Gen" suits, the one in AoZ 2 that was put in the GM Type C and the Next Gen Prototype that I was referencing before both use leg thruster designs similar to...

Re: AoZ2: Rebels Against Time Mechanics
I had never thought of that point, Mark. As large of a company that Anahiem is, part of the "mystery" of this sponsor could be that while they might not be Anahiem directly, that they could make up a portion of it. Under the guise of "disposing" of unused designs, they're really ...

Re: AoZ2: Rebels Against Time Mechanics
It wouldn't be unheard of for them t reuse design elements like that of the Gerbera Tetra on some other machine. However, the designs we've seen given to Keraunos thus far have been based on existing Federation Machines. Then again... the Gerbera Tetra was built off of a Gundam-type machine (GP04G),...

Re: AoZ2: Rebels Against Time Mechanics
From what I can tell, they're some kinda AEUG. I could've sworn I spotted the AEUG logo on one of their jackets.Gelgoog Jager wrote:I'm still confused on whether Keraunos is a better equipped group of Zeon remnants or an early resistance group prior to the AEUG and Karaba.

Re: AoZ2: Rebels Against Time Mechanics
Anaheim running a war on both fronts... that's a major point in Zeta to begin with. The original AoZ focused on test machines for the Titans with parts sent from Anaheim. AoZ 2 looks to be looking at the other side of the coin. It looks like this Keraunos Squad is a hush-hush place for them to start.
