Also, if you look closely, the Dijeh's not in space. It looks to be in the same snowy environment as the Gustav Karls and the brown Jegan.

Re: The Official Gundam Thunderbolt Anime Thread Mk I
My issue isn't the technical details behind Side organization (for the record I always assumed the only Side that was completely wiped out was Side 5, and that the destruction of 1, 2, and 4 wasn't total). My issue is how nonchalant the Zeon characters seem to be about fighting in what is essentiall...

Might be a little off-topic, if so, I apologize. I might be forgetting something, but as far as I can remember, this series is the first time we've seen lots of ruined colonies in the same time period as the OYW. Sure, we've seen them in later series, but seeing Zeon snipers camped out in the wrecke...

I can help!Deacon Blues wrote:not sure if モルモット is to be taken as Marmot or experimental
'Morumotto' is Japanese for 'guinea pig.' So, I guess you could call it the 'Guinea Pig,' i.e. 'experimental unit.'

I was under the impression that Dublin was the 'shadow capital' of the Federation, while Lhasa was the HQ of the Federation Forces.

In a related note, the Powered GM Cardigan's model number is RGM-237C. That doesn't fit any conventions but there's a reason: it uses Goroawase , a form of Japanese wordplay that uses numbers as a shorthand for words. In this case, 2 is Fu(tatsu), 3 is Mi(tsu), and 7 is Na(na) - Fu-Mi-Na. It's also...

He randomly shouted Su-Cord in episode 1 too, so I think that's just some random thing he says. But yeah, he didn't seem surprised that he did that Minovsky Burst. Actually, I thought a bit about that. If the space elevator is considered to be a sacred object, maybe it's like someone saying 'God he...

Interesting how all the Nahel Argama-allied Geara Zulus are the fancier Guard types. I wonder if Angelo's lackeys decided to switch sides?

Blow it up real good, I'd imagine.
In all seriousness I would imagine a nuke going off inside a colony would be absolutely devastating.

Semi-off-topic...but, what do ships with rotating centrifuge sections do when they're operating on Earth? In an old cutaway picture of the White Base I saw, the centrifuge section of the ship was vertical...which would make it impossible to use on Earth... On another note, I've come up with a possib...

Re: The Official Gundam Unicorn Mecha Thread Mk III
Was it just me or did Angelo go almost exclusively for the legs and heads of the General Revil's MS at the end? I don't think I saw a single shot to the cockpit even with all those beams flying around. And I thought that little bowing-out move he did at the end was awesome. Guy might have an unheal...
